Capital Campaign - Basketball Arena

ETSU's basketball program has a storied history of championships and postseason play. The Bucs have made a total of eight trips to NCAA Tournament play, as well as two trips to the National Invitation Tournament. In just the last 20 seasons, the Bucs have made seven trips to the NCAA Tournament, posted nine 20-wins seasons and captured numerous regular season and conference tournament championships.

A new, modern arena has the potential of helping the ETSU basketball program take another step toward garnering more national attention and acclaim. This new venue would spark fan excitement, bolster recruiting and improve the community as a whole, providing a centralized gathering place to enjoy not only ETSU athletics, but major cultural events like concerts, conventions, and minor league sporting events.

Plans for a basketball arena with conversion options for major entertainment and convocation events will soon begin. The planning for this facility will involve partnerships between ETSU and the greater Tri-Cities area. It will fulfill the needs of the university for a state-of-the-art basketball arena as well as an entertainment venue for the campus and community.
