Sarah joined the ETSU Athletics Ticket Office in August, 2013. Among her duties are daily operations of the athletics ticket office, group sales, assisting the athletics business office, and game day ticketing and event operations.
Morabito comes to ETSU from Gardner-Webb University where she played on the Bulldogs’ women’s soccer team, including one year as team captain in 2012. She was a four-year honoree on the Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll and was on the Dean’s List each year at Gardner-Webb.
Prior to arriving in Johnson City, Sarah worked with the South Carolina United as Assistant to the Tournament Director. There, she coordinated student volunteers, game scheduling, parking, and helped to sell merchandise. She was also a counselor at both the Gardner-Webb Soccer Academy and Ralph Lundy Soccer Academy where she supervised groups of 15-20 campers, teaching on field skills as well as sessions to educate campers about the college recruitment process.
While at G-W, Morabito was highly active with the school’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and organized numerous charitable and service projects in the community. She was also involved with the G-W Sport Management Club, which included marketing and promotion of various sports, staffing hospitality for the Big South Soccer Tournament, and facilities preparation for basketball home games.
The Irmo, SC native graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and will be pursuing her Master’s in Sport Management at ETSU.
