Coach Lee Morrow has spent the last 30 plus years serving the ETSU community as the Buccaneers’ head strength and conditioning coach. During this time, Morrow has been a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (1985-2004), and was the director of the state of Tennessee for the NSCA from 1987 to 1989. He also spoke about his work with the ETSU basketball program during the NSCA national convention in St. Louis, Mo. In 2004, Morrow became a member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA), and in 2005 was named a Master Strength Coach.

During his tenure at ETSU he has taken on additional duties beyond his role as strength coach, serving as the athletic department’s academic advisor from 1985 to 1990, interim baseball coach in the spring of 1989, and basketball game manager from 2003 until present.

Morrow began his coaching career at Milligan College, serving from 1977 to 1981 in roles that included head track and cross country coach, assistant basketball coach, and intramural director. He holds an undergraduate degree from Milligan College (1976), while earning his master’s degree from ETSU in 1982.

Lee and his wife of 34 years, Lisa, reside in Elizabethton, Tenn. They have three children, Nathan, Lindsey and Lydia.
