Nathan Palcowski joined the ETSU Media Relations staff in the summer of 2015 as a graduate assistant. He is the primary contact for women's soccer, volleyball, mens and womens cross country, women's basketball and outdoor mens and womens track & field.
Prior to ETSU, Palcowski worked three years as a student assistant in the media relations office at Western Michigan University. At WMU, he worked directly with football, baseball, women’s basketball, cross country and track and field. Additionally, Palcowski worked on all game day stat crews for WMU Athletics.
Palcowski held an intern assistant communications director position for the Kalamazoo Growlers, a summer collegiate baseball team out of the Northwood’s League. He handled the team’s social media platforms and under his watch the team's twitter feed reach 1,000 followers, the fastest Northwoods League team to do so. Prior to entering the media relations office, Palcowski wrote for the school newspaper where he established a daily sports column and covered multiple teams.
Nathan graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Journalism/Graphic Design in 2015. He is currently earning his M.S. in kinesiology and sport studies with a sport management focus at ETSU.
