Garner played two years with ETSU and was a member of the 2013 A-Sun Championship team. During the championship season, she finished top-5 in two tournaments and posted a 76.5 stroke average, a stroke lower than her 2012 season. Prior to ETSU, the South African native played at Texas A&M and posted two top-10 finishes while helping the Aggies to the 2012 Big 12 Championship.
During the summer of 2016, Garner competed in her first two Professional Long Drive competitions and won both tournaments in Buies Creek, N.C. and West Bountiful, Utah. She won the Buies Creek competition by hitting a 285 yard drive in tough weather condititions and out-drove the field at West Bountiful with a record-setting 363 yard drive. With the two wins, she claimed an automatic bid to the 2016 Golf Channel’s World Long Drive Championships in Oklahoma in October.
