In July of 2013, the Sport Science Department took over responsibility of the ETSU Strength and Conditioning Department. Graduate students assigned to each sport are responsible for programing strength training activities for all of our student-athletes. This is a one-of-a-kind program in the United States, which is supervised by Dr. Mike and Coach Meg Stone.

Faculty mentors for the ETSU sports are as follows:
Coach Meg Stone -- Track & Field, assists with Men's & Women's basketball
Dr. Satoshi Mizuguchi -- Men's & Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Tennis
Dr. Kimitake Sato -- Baseball, Softball, Men's & Women's Golf
Dr. Michael Ramsey -- Volleyball
Dr. Brad DeWeese -- Men's & Women's Basketball, assists with Track & Field.
