ETSU (5-17, 5-7) was out hit by Tennessee Tech 13-5 as the Bucs were stymied by the Golden Eagles pitching.
Tennessee Tech jumped out in front in the first inning scoring four runs on RBI singles by Chris King and Evan Webb, an RBI double by A.J. Kirby-Jones and a ground ball to second by Sean Reilly to take a 4-0 lead.
The Golden Eagles scored again in the top of the third on an Alex Henry RBI single to extend its lead to 5-0. In the top of the fourth, Tennessee Tech would score three more runs on a two-run single by King and a sacrifice fly by Webb to make the score 8-0.

In the top of the eighth, Tennessee Tech scored another run on another RBI single by King to increase the Golden Eagle lead to 10-1.
