With the loss the Bucs fall to 13-12 on the season and 5-7 in conference play, why Tennessee Tech improves to 12-10 on the year.
Starter Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) was tabbed with the loss after going 4.0 innings giving up seven runs (six earned) on nine hits and stuck out four as he fell to 2-3 on the season.
Tennessee Tech starter Chad Oberaker picked up his first win of the season going six scoreless innings allowing only three hits and struck out seven ETSU batters.
The Golden Eagles took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first as Alex Henry drove a ball over the fence in left.
Evan Webb added to the Tennessee Tech lead in the bottom of the fourth as he homered to left for his fourth home run of the season to make the score 2-0.
Tennessee Tech scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth on nine hits and two Buccaneer errors to extend the Golden Eagle lead to 10-0.
