JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 12, 2010) - Sophomore Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) was named to the 2010 John Olerud Two-Way Player Watch List announced The College Baseball Foundation earlier this week.
"This is a tremendous honor for Bo," said head coach Tony Skole, "To be one of the final 25 players remaining for this prestigious award is a tremendous accomplishment. Bo has had an outstanding season thus far and seems to be getting better and better over this last month of the season. There are not many athletes in the country that can do what we ask him to do, and do it at such a high level."
The Olerud Award recognizes a player who makes an impact both on the mound and at the plate. Reeder is one of 25 players nationally to be recognized as he is hitting .368 with nine doubles, three triples, 17 home runs and 54 RBI, while posting a 3-4 record on the mound with a 5.94 ERA and 27 strikeouts.
