Hoilman, a 2011 Louisville Slugger Preseason First Team All-American, will look to ride the momentum from a junior campaign that saw him break ten school records while hitting an A-Sun best .420 with 25 home runs and 84 RBI.
The local native joins standouts Jordan Ribera of Fresno State, Mike McGee of Florida State and Steven Maxwell of TCU on the list. Ribera was a member of the 2008 Bulldog squad that went on to win the College World Series after earning a four seed in the Long Beach Regional.
McGee, a two-way star for the Seminoles, hit .328 as a junior with 17 home runs and 73 RBI and also notched 13 saves with a 2.96 ERA on the bump, while Maxwell was an important part of a Horned Frog team that reached the College World Series for the first time in the program's history.
Hoilman and the Bucs open the 2011 season on Friday, February 18 as they play host to the Marist Red Foxes at Cardinal Park.
