JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 29, 2013) – With the start of the Buccaneer baseball season less than three weeks away, the ETSU ticket office is making a strong season ticket push prior to first pitch on Friday, Feb. 15 when the Blue and Gold take on Big Ten foe Penn State at Thomas Stadium.
The Bucs, who play 30 of their 55 games at home this season, will host teams such as the Nittany Lions, Seton Hall, Marist, and Rhode Island in non-conference weekend series, while facing Florida Gulf Coast, Lipscomb, Kennesaw State, and Jacksonville in conference play. In addition, ETSU tangles with Tennessee, Appalachian State, Radford, Tennessee Tech, UNC Asheville, Winthrop, and Wofford in midweek games.
Fans wanting to purchase season tickets can do so by visiting ETSUBucs.com or calling (423) 439-3878. Reserved seats behind home plate are $125 per ticket and seats down the first and third base lines are $75 each. In addition, season-ticket holders need to be a member of the Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association (BASA), which requires a minimum of a $100 donation to join.
