JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 10, 2013) – Season tickets for the 2014 ETSU baseball season are now on sale, and fans will notice substantial changes to the ticketing process.
The price of season tickets has been reduced to $75 for all seats in Thomas Stadium, while the BASA membership (which had been required for any season ticket) has been lifted from the seating areas down either baseline. Only season tickets located underneath the canopy behind home plate (Sections 104 and 105) require BASA membership.
Meanwhile, the student section has also been moved, providing them with more seats as well as seats closer to the action.
“We wanted to make tickets more accessible and affordable for our fans,” said ETSU Ticket Manager Brandon Hudson. “The students really came out and supported the baseball team last season, so we wanted to reward them with better seating.”
In effort to give those the top opportunity at the best seat, the ticket office is beginning its season ticket drive earlier this year, and will wait until February 3 to begin single-game sales. This also provides an opportunity for fans to purchase season tickets as gifts for friends and family during the holiday season.
Single-game tickets will still be $10 for seats behind home plate and $5 for seats located down the baselines.
Renewals for season tickets have already been mailed to ticket holders from last year.
Fans can renew or purchase season tickets over the phone by calling the ETSU Athletics Ticket Office at (423) 439-3878 or online at ETSUBucs.com.
