ETSU wins postponed game with ASU, 18-7

(April 23, 2005) -- The East Tennessee State baseball team picked up where it left off on Friday, scoring six more runs in the final two innings of a postponed game to drop Appalachian State 18-7 Saturday in game one of the Buccaneers' weekend Southern Conference series.
With the win, the Buccaneers improve to 22-11 overall, 10-9 in SoCon play, while the Mountaineers dropped to 9-30, 5-14.
Junior first baseman Blake Church (Roswell, Ga.) led the Bucs offensively, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored, while right fielder Shane Byrne (
