KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Apr. 4, 2007) - Junior outfielder Julio Borbon drove in four runs and scored three more, and Tennessee took advantage of three ETSU errors and 14 walks, cruising to a 13-6 victory over the Buccaneers Wednesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The first four Buccaneers reached base to open the game with freshman Danny Petro's (Atlanta, Ga.) bases loaded double scoring senior C.J. Lee (Bristol, Va.) and junior Anthony Russell (Waldorf, Md.) for a 2-0 first inning lead.

Freshman Justin Tramble (Marietta, Ga.) led off the second inning with an infield single, but it looked like the shortstop would be stranded there after consecutive outs.  Tramble stole second on an 0-2 count to senior Justin Aughey (Davie, Fla.) and Aughey drove the next pitch into left field plating Tramble with the third ETSU run.

The Vols  (18-12) scored  four runs in the second, chasing freshman starter Drew Story (Jefferson City, Tenn.) and taking a 4-3 lead.  Junior Julio Borbon plated the first UT runs with a two-RBI triple to center field, and freshman Jeff Lockwood's two-RBI single gave Tennessee its first lead.

Lee led off the fourth inning with an infield single, and Russell drove the first pitch he saw from Tennessee reliever Danny WIltz well over the left field wall, restoring the Bucs one-run advantage.

The Vols tied the game in the bottom half, and Borbon struck again in the fifth, reclaiming the lead for Tennessee with a two-RBI double into center field.  Borbon scored the eighth Tennessee run later in the inning on J.P. Arencibia's single up the middle.

Trailing 9-5 in the seventh, freshman Tanner Moore (Chattanooga, Tenn.) cut the lead to 9-6 with a double off the wall in right center field, scoring sophomore Troy Mendez (Roswell, Ga.) from second base.

Sophomore Danny Lima put the game away in the bottom of the seventh, belting his second home run of the season, a three run shot to left field giving the Vols a 12-6 advantage.

Borbon finished the night 4-for-6, just a home run away from hitting for the cycle.  Arencibia went 1-for-1 on the evening, tying an Tennessee school record with five bases on balls.

Senior Tony Lomabrdi (Windsor, Calif.) allowed three runs, only one earned, in 2/3 of an inning of work, falling to 0-4 on the season.  Danny Wiltz (1-0) worked 2 1/3 innings of relief, striking out three and earning his first win of the season.

The Bucs (20-12) return home Friday night, opening a three-game Atlantic Sun Conference series with Kennesaw State.  First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday night with the series concluding with a Saturday afternoon doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.  The Bucs are currently tied with Stetson for first place in the A-Sun with a 7-2 mark.
