ETSU Baseball set to take on Tennessee

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 22, 2008) - The ETSU baseball team is set to take on in-state rival Tennessee Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Knoxville, Tenn. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The last time the two teams met the Bucs pulled out a 10-9 win over the Vols at an electric Cardinal Park.

 

The Bucs (11-29, 8-16 A-Sun) will be looking to sweep the Vols for the second time in three years as head Coach Tony Skole is 3-2 against Tennessee in the last five games.

 

The game will be broadcast regionally on Sports South. Fans can also listen to the game live as Jay Sandos the "Voice of the Bucs", will be calling all the action live on the website. The game can also be heard on WKPT-AM 1590 and its translator 97.7 FM in Johnson City, WKTP-AM 1400 and its translator 94.3 FM in Kingsport and WOPI-AM 1490 in Bristol. Additionally, WOPI's FM translator 97.7 will also air the game. Fans at the ballpark can also hear the game on Stadiumcast which is 88.7 FM.
