Bucs surge to fourth straight win, defeat Radford 22-10
Bo Reeder Wednesday, March 24, 2010 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 24, 2010) - The ETSU baseball team picked up its fourth straight win as the Bucs exploded to win 22-10 over Radford in a non-conference game Wednesday afternoon at Cardinal Park. The Bucs (14-4, 3-0 A-Sun) had 19 hits led by sophomore Bo Reeder ( Pete Whittingslow ( RU starter Josh Constable was tabbed with the loss surrendering six runs (five earned) on five hits to fall to 1-1 on the year. Radford took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second on a RBI single by Alex Guerra and a ball hit to first by Robert Lamas. ETSU stormed back in the bottom of the second scoring eight runs on six hits highlighted by a solo home run and a two -run single by Reeder to make the score 8-2 Buccaneers. Reeder's home run to lead off the inning extended his hit streak to 21 games dating back to last season. In the top of the third, the Highlanders cut the ETSU lead to 8-4 after a Reggie Keen RBI double and a Ryan Burgess sacrifice fly to left. RU came within a run in the top of the fifth, as the Highlanders scored six runs on three hits including a two-run single by Keen. The Bucs answered in the bottom half of the inning scoring nine runs on four hits as Reeder had two home runs and four RBI in the inning.
