Rays draft Hoilman in 49th round; Hoilman named 2010 Ping!Baseball All-American
Paul Hoilman Wednesday, June 09, 2010 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 9, 2010) - Junior Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) became the second ETSU baseball player to have his named called in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft after being selected in the 49th round by the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday afternoon. Hoilman joins junior Chas Byrne ( The first baseman was also named a 2010 Ping!Baseball Second Team All-American by Hoilman, the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year, a CoSIDA Academic All-American and a Louisville Slugger First Team All-American, currently hold the ETSU career record for home runs (51) and RBI (197).
