JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 13, 2010) - Several members of the ETSU baseball team spent Wednesday afternoon reading to second grade students at Southside Elementary in an effort to give back to the community.

"Today was a great day for our players who visited Southside Elementary," said head coach Tony Skole. "Our players really enjoy spending time with the youth of our community, and realize the positive impact that they can have on their lives.  I'm not sure who had more fun today, our players or the second graders."

ETSU baseball players have been active in the community in many ways this year including coaching and umpiring fall league baseball games, visiting the Niswonger Children's hospital and mentoring local youth.
