Three Bucs named to Summer League All-Star games

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 24, 2009) - Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.), Derek Trent (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Ben Booker (Knoxville, Tenn.) each had impressive first halves in their summer leagues landing them spots as All-Stars in their respective leagues.


Hoilman leads the New England Collegiate Baseball League with seven home runs and 32 walks. He currently owns a .607 slugging percentage with the North Adams SteepleCats.


Trent has been on fire in the Southern Collegiate Baseball Leage flirting with .400 and leading the Redbirds with a .729 slugging percentage, while Booker has a 3.47 ERA with the Gastonia Grizzlies in addition to a 5-2 record an 33 strikeouts in the Coastal Plain League.
