JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 20, 2011)
- The ETSU baseball team is set to host Kennesaw State in an important Atlantic Sun conference series this week as the Bucs look to end a four-game skid and remain among the leaders in the A-Sun.

Game one of the series is slated for 7:05 p.m. Thursday, while the first pitch of game two is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Friday. The two teams close out the series on Saturday at 1:05 p.m.

The Bucs (22-13, 11-8 A-Sun) are currently on their longest losing streak of the season after dropping a 13-6 decision to Virginia Tech on Tuesday night. ETSU has been good at home in A-Sun play lately as the Bucs have posted a 5-1 record in their last six conference home games.

Senior Dylan Pratt (Johnson City, Tenn.) will look to extend a five-game hit streak after the local native went 3-for-5 against the Hokies.

The Owls (22-18, 9-8 A-Sun) have won four of the last six meetings against the Bucs as KSU leads the all-time series 8-7. Kennesaw State comes into the series having won three of its last five contests, but the Owls have struggled in conference play dropping five of their last six A-Sun games.

Catcher Ronnie Freeman leads the way offensively for KSU hitting a team-best .364 with 16 doubles, four home runs and 31 RBI.
