ETSU Baseball to face 13th ranked Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. (May 10, 2011)
- The ETSU baseball team is set to face No. 13 Clemson Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson, S.C. as the Bucs have won nine of their last ten contests.
 
ETSU (31-16, 12-10 A-Sun) is one win away from tying its season high under current head coach Tony Skole. The Bucs are coming off of a 9-5 win over UNC Asheville on Monday.
 
Skole is three wins away from reaching the 400 win milestone in his career. The Buccaneer skipper earned his 300th victory since taking over the program in 2000 at North Carolina State over the weekend.
 
Clemson (32-15, 13-11 ACC) leads the all-time series 19-6, with the last meeting coming in 2003 when the Tigers' Michael Johnson hit a three-run  walk-off homer in the 12th inning to defeat the Buccaneers.
 
Brad Miller leads the way for Clemson hitting .422 with two homers and 35 RBI as the Tigers are hitting .312 as a team. The Tigers boast one of the top ERA in the country at 3.18 and are limiting their opponents to a .228 average.
