Spent last season playing at Chattanooga State and the 2011 season at Walters State, while playing his high school ball at Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tenn.  … hit .328 (39-119) with eight doubles, two triples, 18 RBIs, and 29 runs scored for the Tigers in 2012 … in high school, lettered in both baseball and basketball ... received the Distinguished Athlete Award in 2010 and was named All-District in 2009 and 2010 … named to the TBCA All-State Showcase Team in 2010, while becoming a three-time All-County selection from 2008-10 … hit .414 during his high school career, while posting a .368 average at Walters State.
