Started 55 of the 57 games (41 CF/14 RF) for the Bucs … named to A-Sun All-Tournament Team … ranked second on the team in hits (66), and third in runs scored (38), doubles (13) and triples (3) … recorded 17 multi-hit and six multi-RBI games … posted his 100th career hit at Jacksonville (4/17) ... hit safely in 12 straight games from 4/6-27 and ended the season on a 9-game hit streak … tied a career high with four runs scored vs. UNC Ashville (2/25) … hit three home runs on the season, belting his first collegiate homer vs. Northern Kentucky (3/28) … went 4 for 6 against Longwood on Feb. 17 … was one of the toughest hitters to strikeout in the country as he only fanned 23 times in 238 at-bats.
Named to Atlantic Sun All-Freshman, All-Tournament and All-Academic Teams … Named A-Sun Player of the Week (March 18) ... started in 57 games for the Bucs … ranked second on the team in stolen bases (20) and runs scored (45) … his 20 stolen bases also ranked fifth in the A-Sun and 99th nationally … totaled 18 multi-hit and five multi-RBI games, while hitting safely in seven straight games from May 16-26 … registered first collegiate hit on Feb. 16 vs. Penn State … went 5-for-6 with four RBI and four runs scored in the win at UNC Asheville on March 13 … scored two or more runs in nine games, including another four-run game at Northern Kentucky on April 6.

Joins the Buccaneer program from Fayette County High School, where he played for head coach Lee McDermott … hit .400 with three homeruns and 21 RBIs, while being named a Underclass High Honorable Mention All-American by Perfect Game in 2011 ... was also named Underclass Honorable Mention by Perfect Game in 2010 … a two-sport star, Taylor also excels on the basketball court, where he led the Tigers to the 2011 Region Championship.
Son of Robin and Tonja Taylor … born February 21, 1994 … plans to major in business.
