High School: Summey lettered in all four of his seasons as a Golden Raider for head coach Steve Dixon ... He also lettered four seasons in football and was all-district in 2002 ... In baseball, Summey pitched 77 innings as a junior, striking out 99 batters and only walking 10 while yielding a 2.04 ERA ... Following that season, he was named to the district All-Tournament Team, to the All-Northeast Tennessee Team and was a TBCA Worth Showcase selection ... As a senior, Summey went 8-4 with a 1.64 ERA, striking out 116 batters in 70 innings while walking just 20 ... His senior season, he was named as the Watauga Conference Pitcher of the Year, Northeast Tennessee Player of the Year, district I-AA Most Valuable Player, TSWA all-state, TBCA all-state and TBCA all-region. Personal: Born on Oct. 3, 1985, Brandon is the son of Raymond and Cynthia Summey.
