2003 Season: Played in and started 47 games, 42 at catcher, three at third base and two at designated hitter ... Also pitched in three games ... Batted .234 and finished third on the team with four home runs and second with 31 RBI ... Tied for third on the squad with seven doubles ... Was a perfect 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts ... Had 10 multi-hit games on the season and nine multi-RBI games, tops on the club ... Drove in three runs vs. Davidson on Apr. 27, four vs. VMI on Mar. 16 and a season-high five at Appalachian State on Apr. 6 ... Was named Southern Conference Player-of-the-Week on April 1 after leading the Bucs to a doubleheader sweep of Wofford on Mar. 29 ... He hit the game-winning two-run homer in a game one 12-inning marathon, then scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth in game two ... On the mound, Moore allowed just one hit in three innings pitched ... He also walked two and struck out five ... Moore earned his forst collegiate save in an 11-9 win over in-state rival Tennessee Tech on May 12 ... He pitched the ninth, and did not allow a baserunner while striking out two. 2002 Season: Played in 38 games at catcher, starting 36 Also saw action in three games on the mound Hit .216 with two home runs and 21 RBIs Also stroked five doubles, scored 22 runs and stole four bases Pitched six innings with a 12.00 ERA, allowing 13 hits and striking out three batters Had two or more RBI in four games last season, including a season-high three vs. VMI on April 13 Had a season-high three hits against Virginia Tech on April 23. High School: Two-time All-Knoxville Interscholastic League selection ... Batted .500 with three homers and 18 stolen bases as a senior ... On the mound compiled a 5-3 record with a 1.38 ERA ...
