2005 Season: Stephen was one of two Bucs to play in and in and start all 53 games last season ... He started 31 games in center field and 22 in left ... Is ETSUís top returning run-producer, having driven in 56 runs last season to rank second on the team ... Also ledthe team with 26 stolen bases in 29 attempts ... Hit .338 on the season with 37 runs scord, 17 doubles, three triples and five home runs ... Douglas finished the season fifth in the SoCon in stolen bases and tied for eighth i runs batted in ... Hit .350 against right-handed pitching last season, .347 with runners on base, .385 with runners in scoring position and .714 (15-for-21) with a runner at third and less than two outs ... Had 22 multi-hit games on the season and 15 games with multiple RBIs ... Douglas had a career game against Radford on Apr. 5, going 5-for-5 with three runs scored, three RBIs and three stolen bases ... Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and five RBIs against Wofford on Apr. 17 ... Was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBIs against High Point on May 20 ... Tied for the team-best with a 16-game hitting streak from Feb. 26-Mar. 27. 2004 Season: Douglas was one of the top freshmen in the Southern Conference last season, as he played in 48 games, starting 43 ... Douglas hit .290 on the season with seven home runs and 37 RBIs ... Also scored 24 runs, hit 11 doubles and stole six bases on the year ... Had a season-high four hits twice last season, against UNC Greensboro on Mar. 20 and against Furman on May 22 ... Drove in a season-high five runs against Wofford on Apr. 9, including a grand slam ... Had four RBIs against UNC Asheville on Apr. 21 and against Tennessee tech on May 18. High School: Douglas has an impressive list of honors earned during his career at Kennesaw Mountain High School and with the prestigious East Cobb Baseball summer program ... In 2001, Douglas was all-county honorable mention ... He followed that up in 2002 by being named second-team all-county and to the Georgia High School Association All-Tournament Team ... During that season, he was the Region AAAAA batting champion, hitting .468 ... Douglas led the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs with a 1.29 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 51 innings pitched ... He also had a .409 batting average, was second in Cobb County with 15 stolen bases and was in the top-5 in the county and set a team record with 27 RBIs ... More accolades followed in 2003 as Douglas earned first-team all-county from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and was again a member of the GHSAA All-Tournament Team ... He also was named all-state in 2003 by the GHSAA ... Douglas earned player-of-the-week honors from the GHSAA in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and he led Kennesaw Mountain to the Georgia Dugout Club Tournament championship in 2002 and 2003 ... His East Cobb Jackets team was the runner-up in the 2001 USSSA World Series as he led the team with a .526 batting average ... He has been selected to East Cobb Baseball summer teams each year since 1999 ... Douglas is the third member of the East Cobb Baseball program on the 2004 Buccaneer roster, joining senior pitcher/outfielder Tim Turner and sophomore catcher/first baseman Blake Church. Personal: Born on May 10, 1985, Stephen is the son of Stephen and Joy Douglas.
