2005 Season: Deans played in three games last year ... Had one at-bat on the season.  High School: Deans lettered four times for coach Randy Richards at Greeneville High School ... in Deans' four seasons at GHS, the Greene Devils set the school record for wins in a season twice (2002 and '03) and won the Inter-Mountain Athletic Conference Championship in 2002 ... Deans batted .351 during his junior season with one home run and 26 RBIs and was hitting .600 (9-for-15) before suffering a season-ending injury in his senior year ... also an excellent student, Deans graduated 17th in his class. Personal: Born on Oct. 23, 1984 ... Scott is the son of Frank and Lisa Deans ... plans on majoring in business management.
