2008 Season: Used mainly in relief, Caldwell made appearances in 20 games recording a 1-0 record…..had an ERA of 5.50 in 18 innings pitched….opponents only hit .270 off of him on the season … Received Atlantic Sun All-Academic honors.

2007 Season: Started the season as the closer, went 2-0 with an 8.21 ERA in 41.2 innings pitched striking out 26 ... Made 26 appearances including one start and recorded one save.

2006 Season: Moved into the starting rotation against Stetson ... Caldwell went 1-1 with a 7.34 ERA on the season with 29 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched... 23 total appearances on the year, but just four starts, three coming in the final three conference weekends... Both decisions came in conference play... Picked up first career victory against Gardner-Webb on May 13... 6.45 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 22 1/3 conference innings.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball… All-Region and All-County as a junior and senior… SBC All-Tournament team as a senior… 2005 North-South All-Star Game MVP… team won state titles in sophomore and junior seasons… combined 16-3 record over final two years in high school… hit .373 with 29 stolen bases final two seasons of high school.

Personal: Born on January 25, 1987… majoring in finance… son of Ricky and Merri Caldwell.
