2013 Season
Atlantic Sun All-Academic member … played in 26 games, making 12 starts in his first season with the Bucs … posted his first hit in an ETSU uniform with a pinch hit single vs. Marist on March 3 … went 1-for-3 with three runs scored in the win at UNC Asheville … was 2-for-3 at North Florida on March 30 and also had a two-hit game at Northern Kentucky on April 6 … scored the game-winning run in the comeback win over Stetson in the A-Sun Tournament.

Prior to ETSU
Played two seasons at Chattanooga State Community College, while playing four seasons at Karns High School in Knoxville … named All-Conference as a first baseman at Chattanooga State and was named All-KIL in 2010 … recorded 24 hits with nine doubles, one home run, and 21 RBIs in 84 at-bats for the Tigers in 2012, while hitting .400 (68-170) with 12 doubles, 43 RBIs, and 52 runs scored in 2011 … helped guide Chattanooga State to 80 wins in two seasons.

Personal
Son of Dave and Sandy Roach … born Dec. 18, 1991 … majoring in physical education … Tyler’s father Dave played basketball at Birmingham Southern, while his mother played basketball at MTSU … his cousin is Bubba Trammell who played for the Detroit Tigers, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Mets, San Diego Padres, and New York Yankees.
