Prior to ETSU: Best graduated from Lincoln Trail College in 2015 in Robinson, Ill...While at communicty college, he played under head coach Kevin Bowers...During his sophomore season, he batted a 0.302 batting average with 45 hits...Best also plated 21 runs and swiped 16 bases...He was a two-time All-State Honorable Mention...He broke three high school records in batting avearge (0.519), hits in a season (69), and hitting streak (28 games)...He was also a four-time All-District team member...His team won the conference championship last year...He has been on back-to-back World Series championship teams in Panama City Beach with the Bluegrass Stars...Best won the region tournament during his freshman year of high school with his older brother...When not on the field, he enjoys hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and anything that invloves being outside...Best is a construction engineering tecnologies major at ETSU.
