JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 6, 2015) – ETSU football head coach Carl Torbush will hold a “Friday Night Lights Camp” on July 17 at Johnny Long’s Training Academy in Knoxville.
The camp is offered for football athletes in grades 9-12. Online registration is $30 and can be accessed below, while walkup registration is $35. Please note the camps are only open to those who are scheduled for 2016-19 high school graduation. Over 250 campers participated in the Friday Night Lights Camp on June 5 in Johnson City, so it’s strongly encouraged to pre-register.

Camp registration for walkups will begin at 5 p.m., while camp activities start at 6:30 p.m. Campers will participate in combine training and instruction, agility training and skill work, individual position instruction, and one-on-one coaching. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring turf shoes, cleats, helmets, and mouth guards, while quarterbacks are permitted to bring their own football.
A signature from parents/guardians will be required on a medical waiver form before campers will be cleared for participation. Furthermore, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend the camps to observe.
