JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 24, 2015) – At 9 a.m. on Monday morning, ETSU students began picking up their tickets for the Buccaneers’ home football opener scheduled on Sept. 3 against Kennesaw State.

In five hours, the tickets were gone. The allotted tickets were earmarked for students and distributed at the Information Desk on the second floor of the D.P. Culp Center. The ETSU student body once again displayed its excitement for the return of football by making it a priority to pick up their tickets on Monday morning.

“We are so grateful to our student body for their support of our entire athletic program, and we appreciate their show of support for football by their response this morning to pick up tickets for the Kennesaw State game,” said ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Richard Sander. “It’s a hectic day on campus with the start of the fall semester, but for this many students to take time out of that busy schedule to stop at the Culp Center and get their football tickets says a lot about the passion and spirit that is building on campus.”

Students and fans are encouraged to visit ETSUBucs.com and click on the football team page, where they can find game day information by clicking on the ETSU Game Central link.
