Dylan Wieger paints a nice picture about how sitting out last year was best for him and his future.
But press him further and he’ll admit it. Saturdays were tough.
“I had to keep myself from running out on the field every now and then,” Wieger said.
Wieger was one of 31 players on the East Tennessee University football team who sat out last season, either being red-shirted or because of injury.
Now the former Sullivan South High School record-setting quarterback is raring to go.
