JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 25, 2016) – ETSU football head coach Carl Torbush and his staff announced Friday that they will be holding its third “Women’s Football 101” Clinic on Saturday, April 9 inside the MSHA Athletic Center. The clinic – presented by Appalachian Orthopaedics – runs from 8 a.m. until noon, while the MSHA Spring Game follows at 1 p.m. at Kermit Tipton Stadium.
The clinic begins with registration and breakfast from 8-8:30 a.m., and will end with a skills session from 11:15 a.m. until noon. Throughout the morning, those in attendance will learn about all aspects of the game such as: offense, defense, special teams, rules, equipment, and strength and conditioning.
“We are really excited to be holding our third Women’s Clinic,” said Coach Torbush. “We have received a lot of positive feedback from those who have attended our previous two clinics and we are looking forward to another strong showing this year.”
The clinic costs $15 per person (pre-registration); however, ETSU faculty and staff are $10, and ETSU students are free with a valid ID. The day of registration cost is $20 per person.
