MOBILE, Ala. (Aug. 24, 2016) – East Tennessee State University defensive back Tavian Lott (D’Lo, Miss.) was named to the Senior Bowl Watch List, which was released by the committee on Tuesday.
Lott started all 11 games for the Blue and Gold in 2015, while totaling 31 tackles (18 solo) and led team with two interceptions. The D’Lo, Miss. native, recorded his interceptions against Maryville (Sept. 10) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Nov. 21). In addition to his interception versus Maryville, Lott also had five tackles and pass breakup against the Fighting Scots. Lott finished with a season-high eight tackles (six solo) against Saint Francis on Oct. 3, while posting three tackles and a forced fumble at Robert Morris on Nov. 7.
The Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, inside Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. The game will be televised on the NFL Network.
The Senior Bowl's 2017 Watch List includes more than 400 student athletes from nearly every level of college football. These are the players who we are looking to fill the 110 roster spots that form the North and South squads for the nation's premier all-star game. A player not on the initial list can be added to the watch list during the season and be invited to the 2017 game.
