JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 25, 2017) – Beginning Monday night at 6 p.m., the weekly ETSU Radio Coaches Show will have a new home at Wild Wing Café in Downtown Johnson City.
The “Voice of the Bucs” Jay Sandos and ETSU head football coach Carl Torbush will highlight the broadcast this week as the football Bucs approach their first-ever game inside the newly-named William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. versus Limestone College. Fans are encouraged to join in on the fun by phone or in person, as plans are in place for later in the year when other ETSU head coaches – including men’s basketball’s Steve Forbes and women’s basketball’s Brittney Ezell – will join Sandos to talk ETSU sports.
As a part of the weekly Monday night show, Wild Wing Café will offer a special “Buc Wild Menu” featuring specials for $3, $4 and $5, along with weekly drink deals. There will also be special giveaway prizes for ETSU fans in attendance.
“We’re extremely excited to partner with Wild Wing Café to bring the Buccaneer Sports Network’s weekly radio show to the public,” Sandos said. “This is an exciting time for ETSU athletics and we want to share that good news with the public through our broadcasts, but also face-to-face at Wild Wing Café. We hope our fans will come out to be part of the broadcast.”
Located at 71 Wilson Ave. in Downtown Johnson City, Wild Wing Café is the ideal stop for Buccaneer fans looking for the perfect place to watch their favorite teams, enjoy a great meal, and stop in pre- or post-game after ETSU events. In addition to the radio show, Wild Wing Café will host special “watch” parties this season for Bucs’ fans to gather and watch the blue and gold when they are on the road.
