JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 25, 2018) – Today marks 100 days until the ETSU football team opens its 2018 season, as the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced that the Bucs will play Mars Hill on Saturday, Sept. 1 at home inside William B. Greene Jr. Stadium.
As the Buccaneers approach the kickoff of a new campaign, ETSUBucs.com will count down the days by featuring the program’s 21 seniors on the site and via social media throughout the summer months. Using their jersey numbers for the days until kickoff, senior defensive lineman and No. 97 Tremond Ferrell will be the first player featured this Sunday as the Bucs reach 97 days until the season opener.

Along with a six-game home schedule that features matchups with Mars Hill (Sept. 1), Furman (Sept. 22), Chattanooga (Sept. 29), Gardener-Webb (Oct. 6), Western Carolina (Oct. 27) and Samford (Nov. 17), the Bucs will also hit the road for the program’s first-ever trip to Neyland Stadium to take on Tennessee on Sept. 8.
