Johnson City, Tenn. -- Terrance Sims scored on a 56-yard run to propel the Blue team to a 21-0 victory over the Gold team in the ETSU Spring Football Game at Memorial Stadium.
Sims took an option pitch from Todd Wells, cut towards the sideline and danced into the end zone untouched to provide the Blue team all of the points it would need. Denario Smalls intercepted a Matt Wilhjelm pass and returned the ball 24 yards for a score to give the Blue team a 14-0 halftime lead. In the second half, after a scoreless third quarter, Wilhjelm (now on the Blue team) connected with Cecil Moore on a 30-yard touchdown pass to finish the scoring.
On the afternoon, Wells finished 8-18-2 for 83 yards. Jermaine Gamble led the Bucs in rushing with 84 yards on 14 carries.
