IRVING, Texas (July 23, 2015) – The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) highlighted today that four new college football teams will take the field for the first time this season, increasing the number of schools among all NCAA divisions, the NAIA and independents offering football to 773, an all-time high.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 21, 2015) – The Southern Conference will host its 2015 Football Media Day on Wednesday (July 22) at the Spartanburg Marriott. All nine head coaches and select student-athletes from each school will be on hand to meet the media and preview the upcoming season.

The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Wednesday that it needed only 15 minutes for fans to purchase the remaining seats for both the Buccaneers’ season opener on Thursday, Sept. 3 against Kennesaw State, and the Saturday, Sept. 26 Homecoming game with Emory & Henry.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 7, 2015) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Tuesday that it has made a change to the Buccaneers’ 2015 football schedule, as the team will now face Kentucky Wesleyan at home on Nov. 21.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 7, 2015) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Tuesday that following standard state bid procedures, BurWil Construction of Bristol, Tenn., has been selected as the construction manager and general contractor for the new ETSU football stadium project, which is scheduled to begin later this year.

(July 7, 2015) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Tuesday that it has partnered with VIP SEEN, Inc., to produce a special preseason football magazine called Game Time, which will be available for purchase later this month at the ETSU Bookstore, as well as local Roadrunner Market and Food City locations.

(July 7, 2015)- The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Buccaneer Sports Network presented by East Coast Wings Bar & Grill announced Tuesday that it has entered into a new, multi-year radio rights agreement with Cumulus Broadcasting of the Tri-Cities, a contract that will take its athletic events back to the FM airwaves as well as renew its current AM flagship partnership.
