Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association

The ETSU Buccaneer Athletic Scholarship Association is a piece of the puzzle that helps join academics and athletics into one complete picture. By raising funds from the alumni and friends of East Tennessee State University, BASA provides scholarships for our student-athletes. ETSU Athletic Advancement strives to provide our athletes the best opportunities in the country both in the academic world and in athletic competition.

BASA members are the lifeblood of the athletic programs. Without the continuing support of Athletic Advancement and BASA, ETSU athletics would not be able to compete at the level that is expected of us on a daily basis.
