Buccaneer student-athletes spend many hours training in order to be the best when they take the field. A recent renovation to East Tennessee State's strength training facility ensures that they will be ready to face the challenge.
The Buccaneers boast one of the finest weight rooms in the area. The 7,200- square-foot facility, which is one of the largest in the southeast, received a $200,000 in the mid 1990s. The facility was redesigned aesthetically and new equipment, including customized York plates, customized free weight equipment and Hammer-Strength Machines, was added to the facility.
The weight room is located on the second floor of the Memorial Center, just a stone’s throw from the basketball court.
