Dear Student Athlete:

Thank you for your interest in our cheer program at East Tennessee State University. The ETSU cheerleaders have a reputation of excellence both in their athletic talents and in their academic endeavors. If you would like to be a part of an energetic, motivated, and highly talented squad, then we want to meet you. Our primary responsibility is promoting an atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement at the Buccaneer men’s and women’s home basketball games. Our squad is also seen as ambassadors for the university amongst the community. The cheerleaders are supported by the ETSU conditioning coach and athletic training staff. ETSU also offers academic assistance to those student athletes in need.
