Johnson City, Tenn. -- Senior guard Dimeco Childress was named to the Preseason All-Southern Conference team Monday from the SoCon preseason basketball rouser from Charleston, S.C. Childress was an All-Conference selection following the 2000-01 season after leading the Bucs in scoring at over 13 points per game. East Tennessee State opens up the season on Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. as they host Guilford.
