Fans invited to "Beat The Bucs" night at the Mall at Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY, TENN. (Nov. 3, 2003) - Fans of the East Tennessee State University basketball programs are invited to take on the Bucs Tuesday night, Nov. 4 at the Mall at Johnson City. Members of the East Tennessee State men's and women's basketball teams will be playing video games in the Food Court of the Mall and are challenging all fans who would like to go one-on-one. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will last until 8:30 p.m. And remember, fans can pick up their season tickets for the upcoming 2003-04 season by calling 423-439-5371 or e-mailing the ETSU ticket office at Other upcoming basketball events include: Monday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. - EXHIBITION GAME AGAINST GLOBAL SPORTS - The Buccaneers will play their only official, open-to-the-public exhibition game at Brooks Gym on Nov. 10 against Global Sports. Tickets will be $5 with season ticket holders being admitted free. Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. - LADY BUCS vs. LEES-MCRAE (Exhibition) - The Lady Bucs will play their first exhibition game of the season versus Lees-McRae on Nvo. 13 at 7 p.m. in Brooks Gym. General Admission is $3 at the door. Sunday, Nov. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. - MAGICAL NIGHT OF GIVING AT THE MALL - Come meet the men's and women's teams at the Mall at Johnson City during the Magical Night of Giving. The teams will sign autographs, visit with fans and hand out posters and schedule cards. Friday, Nov. 21 at 8:30 p.m. - ETSU AT HOUSTON - The Buccaneers open their season on the road against Conference USA member Houston. Listen to the action on the Buccaneer Sports Network beginning with the pregame show live from the Sophisticated Otter at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. - LADY BUCS vs. NWBL team - The Lady Bucs will play last exhibition game of the preseason against the National Women's Basketball League Select team at Brooks Gym. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. and general admission is $3 at the door.
