JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 2, 2006) - The ETSU men's basketball team will make its first appearance on the Atlantic Sun Conference Game of the Week Friday night when the Bucs faceoff with Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m.

The A-Sun Game of the Week airs on CSS (Comcast Sports Southeast) to homes throughout the southeast region. The Bucs (12-8, 9-4) have won 10 of their last 12 games and are currently tied for second place in the A-Sun, just one game back of A-Sun leading Lipscomb. Meanwhile, the season has been a struggle for Jacksonville, which enters the game at 1-18 overall, 1-11 in league play.

Against the Dolphins, ETSU senior point guard Tim Smith (Newport News, Va.) will continue to chase down the Bucs' all-time scoring record. Currently, Smith has 2,138 points and is just 66 points shy of the all-time mark of 2,204 held by Greg Dennis (1987-92).
