JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2005) - Fans interested in purchasing their tickets for the ETSU men's basketball season opener at Tennessee on Nov. 18 can do so now by contacting the ETSU ticket office at 423-439-ETSU (3878).

 

These tickets will allow fans to seat in the ETSU visitor's section and will cost $8 each. Tip for the game against the Volunteers is set for 7:30 p.m.

ETSU has made trips to the NCAA Tournament in two of the previous three years and is looking for success once again in 2005-06, as senior guard Tim Smith (Newport News, Va.) returns to lead the Bucs. Meanwhile, the Vols will be debuting under new head coach Bruce Pearl.

 

For fans who will be away from the television on Nov. 18, they are reminded that "Voice of the Bucs" Jay Sandos will be broadcasting the live play-by-play from Thompson-Boling Arena along the Mountain States Health Alliance Buccaneer Sports Network. Click on the network logo located at ETSUBucs.com for the radio affiliate in your area.
