JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 2, 2005) - ETSU fans around the country will be able to enjoy the Buccaneers' season opener at Tennessee on Nov. 18.

The game between the two in-state rivals, which is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tip, will air live on Fox SportsNet South for viewers within the Mountain Empire region. In addition, the game will be carried on other national channels such as FSN Southwest, FSN Florida and Sun Sports.

ETSU has made trips to the NCAA Tournament in two of the previous three years and is looking for success once again in 2005-06, as senior guard Tim Smith (Newport News, Va.) returns to lead the Bucs. Meanwhile, the Vols will be debuting under new head coach Bruce Pearl. For tickets, fans can call 423-439-ETSU (3878) for more information.
