KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 30, 2006) -- The ETSU men's basketball team will return from Christmas break Saturday evening to take on in-state SEC rival Tennessee at Thompson-Boling Arena at 8 p.m. Fans unable to attend can watch the game live on CSS.

The Bucs (8-5), winners of six of their last seven, will meet the Volunteers (11-2) for the 11th time, and trail the all-time series with UT, 2-9. Tennessee has won four straight meetings, after losing back-to-back contests with the Bucs in 1989 and 1991.

This game will mark the end of non-conference play for ETSU, as the Bucs will return to Atlantic Sun Conference action for the remaining 16 games on the regular season schedule. The Bucs are currently 2-0 and tied for the lead in A-Sun play.
