JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 1, 2010) - ETSU men's basketball coach Murry Bartow announced Thursday that freshman point guard Bruce Grimm (Rochester, Ind.) has chosen to leave the Buccaneers' program at the end of the spring semester.
"We wish Bruce only the best as he chooses a different path for his college career," said Bartow, whose team is coming off a 20-15 season, an Atlantic Sun Conference championship, and a second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. "Bruce helped our program this season and we appreciate his contributions to our team. During his time in Johnson City, Bruce always gave a great deal of effort and we hope he continues to find success in the future."
Grimm, a highly recruited guard out of Rochester High School, played in 17 games and started in five of those contests. He averaged 10.5 minutes, 2.2 points and 1.2 assists per game during the regular season.
