ETSU athletics to host "two" NCAA Selection Show parties

Come out and celebrate with the ETSU men's and women's basketball teams on Sunday and Monday night

 

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 9, 2010) - With both the ETSU men's and women's basketball teams earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament after securing victories in the Atlantic Sun Conference championships, the Buccaneers' athletic department will host Selection Show gatherings on back-to-back nights next week.

 

The ETSU men will learn its seeding and first round opponent on Sunday night, March 14, and fans are invited to the Selection Show party at the Millennium Center, located just across the street from the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center. The event will begin at 5 p.m., with the CBS selection show slated to start at 6 p.m. 

 

On Monday, March 15, fans can celebrate once more as the Lady Bucs will learn of their first round seed and pairing. The women's Selection Show party will be held at Fanatics Restaurant located inside the Doubletree Hotel, with the party set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and the ESPN selection show scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Fanatics has made this an exclusive event for ETSU Buccaneer fans only on Monday night. 

 

At both events, ETSU players and coaches will be available for autographs, souvenir NCAA apparel will be released for the first time, and the ETSU pep band, cheerleaders, and Bucky will be in attendance. In addition, fans attending Sunday and Monday night's events will be able to enter in a drawing for two season tickets to both men's and women's basketball games for the 2010-2011 season.

Fans wishing to purchase NCAA tickets can call the ETSU ticket office at 423-439-ETSU (3878) to be placed on the ticket priority list. The ETSU ticket office will inform fans that they are receiving tickets late Sunday night or early on Monday morning.
